Alfred: I was thrilled to work with you on my final Notables cd. Your studio is amazing, and you are a miracle-working genius to produce such magnificent results from a group like Haverford Notables and me, the temperamental maestro. We all loved working with you.

Great Review!!!

Hey!! Just wanted to share this comment by David Sperandio from Vocal Mastering.  Dave masters almost all of the most significant vocal recordings nationally.  (The Sing Off, Pitch Perfect, and the Pentatonix!!)

"The sound I hear from Alfred at Silvertone jumps out at me right away. He seems to have a unique formula for crafting a modern sound that still somehow feels quite organic. It's a very original sound that is as progressive as it is authentic."

Congratulations Sami Hope!

It's Owl or Nothing!!

Only two years in the making, Temple University's newest co-ed acappella group Owlcappella has exploded on Philadelphia's vocal music scene with the polished musicianship characteristic of much more seasoned veterans. Appearing at such premier venues as the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia and Rock Hall and Radio City in NYC, the group was lauded by CBS Philly as one of the top five vocal ensembles in the city! Needless to say, we were thrilled when the group's leader, Kevin Chemidlin ('14) approached us with their desire to record the group's first EP here at SILVERTONE! Through the entirety of the recording/mixing process all members demonstrated consistent professionalism, fortitude and incredible patience. Their unwavering positivity and enthusiasm was contagious and made for an incredibly fun recording experience! The end result truly is a reflection of all the dedicated time and effort each member contributed. Aptly titled, Owl or Nothing, their EP (released on March 26th) exudes the group's remarkable passion, enthusiasm as well as a keen and quirky sense of humor! :) Check out their website for additional info and upcoming events! And be sure to check out their album, Owl or Nothing (available on both iTunes and Amazon)!

Congratulations to Tim LaBorie!

We would like to congratulate folk artist, Tim LaBorie, who recently won a finalist slot in the Plowshares Songwriting Contest with a song he reocorded at Silvertone! The finals will be an incredible night of music as eight finalists, hailing from Boston to Nashville, play two songs each before a panel of judges. Good luck Tim!
